Istorima was created with a founding grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), completed in June 2024. As a civil non-profit company, we rely on the donations and sponsorships of companies and individuals to continue building upon our work. Our supporters and donors help us to discover and record new stories, keeping them alive, connecting people from different places and cultures, and broaden our understanding of the world.

Support at Istorima means that:

• We can continue to create quality content, search for stories in remote locations, record and edit the best available media, and share them in the highest possible quality.
• We ensure that Istorima remains accessible to everyone.
• We preserve an important part of our cultural heritage and oral histories that do not exist anywhere else, thus contributing to the preservation of evidence of our culture and collective memory.
